Advisory Council Committee Info

Committee Mission:

The advisory council advises and provides leadership to address issues of policy and strategy for ACLCA. Its goal is to support the ACLCA's mission by providing ideas, manpower and two-way linkage to other organizations and communities.  Like the Executive Committee, the Advisory Council seeks to be representative of the diversity of stakeholders in the LCA Community.  

Activities:

Management and coordination of new committees as outlined in the business plan. Development of new ideas to facilitate ACLCA's mission. The Council meets from time to time during the year via teleconference and annually at the ACLCA conference. 

History:

The very first committee of ACLCA, the advisory council has been the basis of the success of the organization today.
